The Courage to Follow My Heart: A Journey of Self-Discovery and Acceptance."

I know it’s hard.

I know it’s painful.

I know it’s heavy.

Letting go of what was once so familiar is never easy, but change is necessary for growth. It’s essential to create the life you know in your heart you long for.

The courage to come home to yourself, again and again, to understand your deepest longing of your soul is immense. Admitting what you long for and recognizing that you deserve it is an act of grace. The path to following your heart and staying true to your alignment is not always easy or perfect, but it is worth the effort and the journey with yourself.

Following your heart requires complete honesty with yourself. Listen to your heart’s aches and longings. Have the courage to feel them, to speak your truth from your heart. Remember, your truth might be uncomfortable for both you and those around you. Don’t hide it, don’t bend it, don’t diminish it. Simply and sincerely speak it with all your heart. Your truth, your words, carry your vibration, your soul, your energy. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be you—vulnerable, sincere, and gracious.

People might accept it, people might reject it. What matters is that you share yourself fully in that moment. Fully be yourself.

Following your heart also means having the courage to take actions that align with your deepest longings. You may not see the entire road map for your journey. Often, the only thing you see is the present moment and the next step you need to take. No matter how long it takes to gather your courage, even if it scares you and makes you feel shaky inside, take that step if it aligns with your intentions and deepest desires.

That next step might be sharing your longings with the people you love and trust. It might be quitting your job. It might be deciding to leave a relationship that hasn’t worked for a long time, even if it’s comfortable.

Following your heart requires openness to the unfolding and ever-changing process of life. Stay curious and full of wonder. Let go of expectations and open your heart to new experiences.

Following your heart doesn’t have a final destination. It arrives with each breath, each moment of awareness. There is nothing for you to control—just be present and embrace the unknown.

Following your heart is the path where you and your soul come together to experience heaven on earth and to remember who you truly are.

With love & trust,
Kylie
